Stacy Davidson, FNP
Stacy Davidson is a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She has lived in the Verde Valley since 2000. She has twenty years of experience as a registered nurse. She leads the First Line Therapy Program at Choices. First Line Therapy is a "therapeutic lifestyle" program incorporating the latest research about the effects of lifestyle on our health and in its absence the progress of chronic disease. It has well been demonstrated that many of the chronic diseases associated with aging can be prevented or treated with lifestyle choices including nutrition, movement, relaxation and rest. She has discovered that the choices we make regarding these elements of our lifestyle send powerful messages that ultimately determine how well out bodies can function and restore itself to maintain optimal levels of health. Striking a balance as a goal can enhance your health, control your weight and prevent disease. Conditions that can be improved with a "therapeutic lifestyle" approach include, but are not limited to, diabetes, heart disease, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, metabolic syndrome and arthritis.

Mary DeRose, RN, DC
is a specialist in the Activator Chiropractic Methods of treatment. Activator Methods chiropractic technique was developed in the late 1960's and in the past 20 years has grown to be the most widely used low-force technique in chiropractic. This specific system of adjusting has been developed with the ability to restore proper spinal balance - and to do it with improved safety and comfort. The hand held Activator instrument is a relatively new concept in light force adjusting. It has been specially designed to deliver a controlled, light and fast thrust without undue strain to the patient. The thrust delivered by the instrument is so quick that it accelerates ahead of the body's own tendency to tighten up and resist the thrust of an adjustment. Because of the accuracy and controlled light force, Activator Methods adjustments are suitable and comfortable for all types of patients, including pregnant women, babies, children, athletes and senior citizens.
